This is where I'm supposed to say I've spent 40 years helping people in work collaboration and conflict, and I can help you. 

But the truth is, I've spent 40 years figuring out how to show up in situations. How to handle myself better in them. How to act under pressure, in real-time, to be effective. 

I've been a junior team member. A consultant. An owner. An exec in someone else's company. A coach and trainer. It didn't matter what role, what age, or what stage of my career, I learned as much or more about myself in situations as about the situations. That continues to this day. And that's what I can help you do.

I can help with how you show up in work collaboration and conflict. I can help you feel more competent and confident.

In my first job after college, I staffed a community mental health center's residential treatment program and helped launch and run the agency's first-ever strategic planning and program evaluation efforts. While in graduate school and working at USEPA, I worked directly with state and local executive, legislative, and environmental officials to improve intergovernmental communication and collaboration. 

Over the decades, I've owned a software company with my brother which created major change in Fortune 100 companies' property and injury risk management. I've owned independent consulting practices focused on organizational collaboration, conflict, communciation, and change.  And I was COO and President of a management consulting company which I didn't own, which supported a lot of government change.  

(I also had a 25-year side gig writing, consulting, and coaching Federal government proposals. You have to buy me a drink to hear about that!)  

I earned a fun undergraduate liberal arts degree which I was able to design, and I have an MS in Conflict Analysis and Resolution.   

These days I'm on a mission to show others how to learn what I learned about handling collaboration and conflict better.
